Here is the latest information on Bee disease outbreaks from Tom Williamson (Senior bee inspector) Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs, Plant Health Inspection Branch - Forest Service!
Two colonies with EFB infection were found during August and September at outbreak apiaries on their follow-up inspections but no new outbreaks were recorded. One new outbreak for AFB was recorded during Sept.

BEEKEEPING COURSE 2019
RANDBKA are once again running a Preliminary Beekeeping Course in 2019. The course covers the basics of beekeeping from setting up an apiary and acquiring bees to health & safety, hive management, swarm control, disease control and honey production.
