After more than three months of meticulous planning by the INIB Committee, led by tireless Chairman, Michael Young and greatly assisted by an army of volunteer beekeepers, and unbelievable weather, the INIB stand and coffee shop venture were declared a huge success by all concerned.

All the hard work was rewarded by receiving a signed Certificate of Excellence from the organisers for the INIB stand. The judging was by John Cushnie.

Over the three days over 26000 people visited the show resulting. Everyone involved worked very hard during the whole three days, but special mention must go to Walter McNeill and Deborah Anderson, who helped on the stand for the whole of the three days along with Jamie Baird who was a huge asset in attracting the younger members of the public to the observation hive. A special mention also to Jo Toland, Vera Crawford, Madeline McMullan and Rae Young who worked very well together as a team, along side the chefs and team of waiting staff in the coffee shop.

Well done and thanks to everyone. Next year's stand is already booked!!
